Salient Features

• TGB is used to traverse the turret 360 Rotation of BMP vehicles.
• TGB is operated through dual-mode viz; Auto mode & manual mode.
• Auto Mode: In this mode gearbox functions with a special DC motor and out-put gear delivers desired torque by means of the spur gear train.
• Manual Mode: This gearbox can be operated manually with the help of a handle and worm/worm wheel gear train.
• Weight: 34 Kg
• Testing is carried on the dedicated test set up in which output torque and slippage are measured.
