BMP-IIK
ICV : Infantry Combat Vehicle is a type of Armoured fighting vehicle used to carry Infantry into battle and provide direct fire support.

After extensive trials of various models of Infantry Combat Vehicles produced by U.K, USA, France, Germany, USSR, Indian Army selected BMP version for indigenous production with the collaboration of erstwhile USSR. India thus has joined an elite club of nations possessing a sophisticated Amphibious Infantry Combat Vehicles.
The Ordnance Factory Medak is manufacturing the BMP-2/SARATH in compliance with the OEM’s (prescribed performance parameters) benchmark.
Till date OFMK has produced and issued 2372 BMP Vehicles.
BMP-II is a Infantry Combat Vehicle which is also known as APC ‘Sarath’ (BMP-II) is fully tracked, highly mobile amphibian ICV with 30mm fully stabilized automatic cannon, 7.62 mm PKT Machine Gun and 4 kms range anti-tank wire guided ‘Konkurs’ Missile housing 7 troopers and 3 crews. Its crew is protected from NBC attacks.
It is also equipped with Night Vision Device & Smoke Grenade Launchers system.
