Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO)

 
Mr. Nilabhra Sengupta, IRSSE, CVO

Mr. Nilabhra Sengupta, IRSSE (1997 batch), took additional charge 
as Chief Vigilance Officer of M/s Armoured Vehicles Nigam with effect 
from 2nd December, 2024, the day on which took the charge as Chief 
Vigilance Officer of M/s Bharat Electronics Limited on deputation.

He has completed B.E in Electronics and Telecommunications from 
Jadavpur University, Kolkata in the year 1996. He joined Indian Railway 
Service of Signal Engineers in 1998. Before joining as CVO BEL & AVNL 
(additional charge) he was serving as Chief Signal and Telecom 
Engineer/Projects at Metro Railway Kolkata. He was also holding additional 
charge of Director (Rolling stock and Systems) in Kolkata Metro Rail 
Corporation.

He has also served as ADRM Operations in Eastern Railway, Howrah 
division. He was also on deputation to RITES and Bangalore Metro Rail 
Corporation from 2014 to 2017.

He has a vast experience of more than 25 years with Govt. of India in 
diverse areas like Signaling and Telecommunications, Safety of Train 
operations, Metro Technologies, Budget, Procurement, General 
administration, Personnel management and IT.
