AVNL WWA HVF UNIT ACTIVITIES AT A GLANCE

AVNL WWA HVF Unit is engaged with various welfare activities for the ladies of AVNL Estate. The following Activity Centres are functioning under AVNL WWA HVF Unit in AVNL Estate:-

ANKUR VIDYA MANDIR

The Ankur Vidya Mandir was established during the year 1963 under HVF Management and thereafter during the year 2002 this school was taken over by Women Welfare Association HVF Branch and on formation AVNL WWA, the school has been placed now under the Management of AVNL WWA HVF Unit.

Now the Ankur Vidya Mandir is having 704 students in Pre-KG, LKG and UKG classes, 21 Teaching Staff and 20 Supporting Staff.

Ankur Vidya Mandir also imparts various co-curricular activities like fancy dress, handwriting competition, solo dance, clay moulding, drawing competition, speech competition, rhymes competition etc,. The school is also ensure the participation of students in various events like Sports Day, Grand-parents Day, Colour Day celebrations like Tri-colour day, purple day, red day, pink day, Blue day and green day etc. The school celebrates all National Celebrations and festivals colourfully.

In order to equip the students in latest technological and modern learning standards the school is equipped with Audio Visual Room, Smart class facilities, computer lab, toy room etc,.

AVNL-WWA HVF(LPG) SECTION

AVNL WWA HVF (LPG) Section, WWA Gas Agency, AVNL Estate has been established during theyear 1985 for the benefit of the erstwhile ordnance factories/Establishments employees in HVF Estate. Now this Gas Agency is having almost 2500 customers with an yearly turnover of 2,02,46,596.00. there are 8 employees working in this Gas Agency to manage the day business.

AVNL WWA HVF KALASANGAM

AVNL-WWA HVF Unit is having a Kalasangam consisting of classical dance class, typewriting institute and a tailoring class. Around 50 students are getting training/practicing in the classical dance class, around 24 students are studying in the typewriter institute and around 07 students are learning tailoring in the tailoring institute at present.
